CopyPilot AIPrivacy Policy
1. Who we are
Fixiby Software Technologies (“Fixiby”, “we”, “us”) develops and operates CopyPilot AI (also described as “CopyPilot AI — Agentic SEO & Sales Copywriter”), a Shopify application. Website: fixiby.com. Public app site: fixiby.vercel.app. All privacy and support requests: info@fixiby.com.
2. Scope
This Policy explains how we process information when merchants install or use CopyPilot AI on Shopify. It is designed to meet Shopify App Store privacy requirements and to align with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws including the CCPA/CPRA.
3. Information we collect
CopyPilot AI is product-content focused. We do not request Shopify customer or order access scopes.
- Shop identifiers: myshopify domain, shop ID, install / subscription status
- Product content: titles, descriptions, product type, tags, vendor, media URLs, SEO title/description, image alt text
- Usage & billing: plan tier, AI credit usage, Shopify Billing charge / subscription identifiers
- Technical logs: IP address, timestamps, error diagnostics — retained briefly for security and reliability

Authorized Admin API scopes are limited to read_products, write_products, read_themes, and write_themes.
4. How we use information
- Generate AIDA-style sales copy and SEO metadata and publish updates after merchant approval
- Operate plan gates, monthly credits, one-time credit packs, and Shopify Billing
- Provide multi-market / multi-language listing workflows (as enabled by the selected plan)
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
- Respond to Shopify mandatory compliance webhooks and lawful requests
5. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract: providing CopyPilot AI after install
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, product integrity (balanced against merchant rights)
- Legal obligation: responding to regulators or mandatory platform requirements
- Consent: only where separately obtained and required
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with:
- Shopify Inc. — Admin API, Billing, webhooks, embedded admin
- Infrastructure processors — hosting (e.g. Vercel) under contract
- Optional AI inference providers — product text and locale parameters only; not customer PII
- Authorities — when legally required
7. CCPA / CPRA disclosures
We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. California residents may request access, deletion, and correction by emailing info@fixiby.com. We will not discriminate for exercising these rights.
8. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries where our processors operate. Where GDPR applies to EEA/UK transfers, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as available from our processors.
9. Retention
- While the app remains installed and as needed to provide the service
- After uninstall, Shopify sends
shop/redact(typically ~48 hours later); we delete shop-linked app data - Billing/tax records are retained as required by law
10. Security
We use HTTPS, least-privilege scopes, access controls, and HMAC verification for Shopify webhooks. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
11. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. Contact info@fixiby.com. Merchants in Türkiye should also review our KVKK disclosure notice.
12. Children
CopyPilot AI is a business-to-business product for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children under 16.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page and in App Store listing links where applicable.
